I love my life...

I thought this was such a cute picture. Ava is totally asleep with her hand still hung up on the chain toy. It was like that for the longest time. She is getting so big. Ava is 4 months and 2 days old! WOW, time goes by so fast. I have her 4 month check up next Friday, so it will be fun to see her growth since her 2 month. Yara is loving life down here in HOT TX. She is really into dressing up. I got her a hot pink TU-TU several days ago.... she has worn it ever since. She loves it.

Justin and I are just getting really excited about our future in dental school. We have so many things we have to get done before we move. My main thing is YARD SALE! I have to get rid of so much I can't wait! What is it about yard sales? You feel so much better after you get rid of some junk!
My rules for Yard Sales:
*If you honestly haven't used the item in 6months - 1 Year and its not sentimental sell it!!!! Besides seasonal items (skis, snowboards, clothing,etc...)
*Go through every thing and pick out what you want to sell. Don't just go through most of your junk ---- all of your junk. Whats junk to you is a treasure to some one else.
*You can pick up yard sale pricing stickers at Honks or All a Dollar. Start pricing every thing. Its hard to make prices on the spot and it gets so busy some times you want to be prepared.
*Clean up your yard so customers want to come see what you have. Mow lawn, pick up trash etc.. Maybe even sell some homemade cookies or lemonade!
*Make visible signs with balloons and bright colors. Advertise in your local news paper and craigslist.
*Get some cash to start out. Mostly 1 and 5 dollar bills and change.
*Have your stuff out early and be prepared! There are a lot of people who will get there early, you will feel dumb not being on time!
*Put your money some where safe.... the pocket.

* When the sale is over, don't put the rest of your junk back in your house. Give it to charity or some thing, don't go backwards!
*And last but not least------ don't blow all your earnings on junk on your neighbors yard sale!
Yard and garage sales are a lot of work but they can be fun and rewarding. So get started and make some money!

IT'S THURSDAY NOT WESNESDAY....

Okay that shows you what a crazy and weird week I've had so far. I thought today was Wednesday up until about 2 hours ago. I was going to fix it but I thought it would be funny.

It's only Wednesday???

What a crazy week so far. On Monday I was opening one of Yara's little toys with meat scissors..... DuMb IdeA...... I stabbed my hand. In between my thumb and my index finger (the web part). It went in so far. It was bleeding really bad. My sweet support system Jodie and Penny took care of me. Penny took my girls. Jodie rushed me to the hospital. I waited 5 hours in the emergency room. I finally saw the doctor and he said I didn't need stitches because the skin comes together right there on my hand anyways. I got bandaged up, a shot, antibiotics, and some pain meds .

My hand is doing much better now. It really hurts to do certain things like changing diapers, picking up babies, cleaning dishes, getting dressed, putting the girls socks on, etc... basically everything I guess. The doctor told me not to use my hand for several weeks till my muscle heals. But that's impossible with 2 kids. I will leave you with some pictures.
Here is Yara LAYING on top of Ava kissing her. Poor Ava, she deals with so much.

Yara is obsessed with jewelry so we got some beads and made some more necklaces. Of course half the bag ended up on the floor.

Ava and Emmie playing on the ground. Emmie is much older but they still had a ball looking at each other. Even though Ava got a hold of Emmie's hair. Emmie just looked confused. So cute.

What would you do?

We are having a hard time deciding if we want justin to join the military. NOT THE ARMY>>>>> And for all of you that don't understand this---- Justin will be a doctor so that means he will not be fighting.

It's such a nice thought, to have all his schooling paid for, $2000.00 a month, insurance, cheap life insurance, traveling, discounts on food/clothes, hotels, airline tickets etc.........

The bad part of joining is we have a serious commitment. If he goes to school for at least 4 years he has to repay 4 years. If he specializes which that's the plan now he will have to stay longer obviously. He will be gone for at least 3 months probably.

It seems that almost every dentist that I have talked to has said they wish they joined. Why not have some one pay for your schooling????? It would be so awesome to get out of dental school and actually have money to start a practice. Being away from each other for a while --- yah it would be extremely hard but Justin and I are going to be with each other for eternity.

Destination KNOWN

For the longest time Justin and I have not known where we are going to live and what we are going to be doing in the year 2008. It has been the most frustrating feeling. Every day I would think to myself I wish I knew what we were going to be doing with our lives.

Saturday morning after Justin left he called me very emotional. I seriously thought he was hit by a car or something. Well he didn't get hit by a car he was accepted to dental school!!!!!! We were both so suppppper excited we still can't believe it. We are so busy trying to figure out what we need to do before we leave.

I am so proud of Justin. He is working so hard for our family. I know all this schooling will pay off. Basically all I can say is I love him so much. I don't know how to say it better than that.

ZOO

We went to the small Utah ZOO on Saturday and it was so fun. I love Hogle zoo. My sister Diania, Ben, Finn, Yara, Ava and I went. Yara is actually old enough now to start naming the animals and she absolutely loved the train. She was waving and saying "Hi"
to everyone. Ava was great, She was asleep the entire time.

MOM

I'm having one of those annoying and hard mommy days. Both of my girls are sick -- mostly yara the 2 yr old. Ava is such a sweet heart, she is fine being covered in all of yara's toys and books. Yara is so worn out and just sick. And to top it off she won't eat anything besides grapes and raisins.

Anyways I'm going to stop complaining and start being grateful for every thing I have.

5 things I'm grateful for:

1. My beautiful little girls who have no serious health problems!!!!

2. A mommies best friend -- Pediatrician..... Dr. O'very who always comes through to help my kids feel better when feeling down.

3. Justin who works so hard in school and providing for our family. He got a 99% on his physics test last week... haraaa for him!

4. Books. They help my unwind and relax.

5. Okay this is a book but it counts... Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by: some genius doctor who I can't remember his name. Yara and Ava sleep so well because of this book. I have the evening to myself and Justin. I could go on and on about it but I won't.

Okay I tag Diania, Kristy, Kaylee, Brittany Pack, Konae, Jodie, and Stacey Jewkes.... You better do it or else.....!

Well I'm finally back to updating my blog. I have been SUPER busy with Yara and the new edition baby Ava. She was born January 27, 6 lbs 12 oz. I went into labor around 430 pm went to the Logan hospital at 6pm the same day,,,,,,, she was born at 6:55pm!!!! She was in a hurry to get here. She was born right after President Hinkley passed away --- it was very special in the room when we found out.

Justin has been really busy also, right now he is down in Mexico with some dentists and other students doing a mission trip, he is really liking it! I will put the pictures up of his trip when he gets back. Anyways here are today's pictures::::

Yara

I think this picture of Yara is so cute. She looks like a Selph baby.....? This was taken after her bath so she was pretty excited to be jumping on the bed naked.

The Monitor....

Ever since Yara was born (22 months ago) we never really needed a monitor to hear her. We have always had a one level apartment. In our new apartment her bedroom is upstairs. The only way we really knew she was awake was when the ceiling started shaking, she loves jumping.

Yesterday I finally went to Walmart to buy a monitor. It has been so fun listening to her. Today I just put her down for a nap and she is just up there laughing. But she is starting to calm down.... Hopefully.... I love the monitor!

Side pony tail...

So last night Justin was giving me ideas for Yara's hair, and the side pony came up.... I think it's totally cute. She has such a big cowlick in the back a distinct part that it's hard to do certain hair styles. She is so good at letting me do her hair. I wonder how long that will last.

28 weeks and growing....

I think it's amazing how the female body was built. I am - 28 weeks. I actually had a check up today and every thing looks great so far. It is the best feeling to hear your babies heart beat. Yara gets up there right next to me and gets so excited to hear that little FAST beating noise.

the wonderful park

she is getting so big. she can do all the slides by herself.

Me....

My sister tagged me with this thing where I'm supposed to tell 6 things about me! This is honestly really hard for me, I really haven't thought about just myself for a long time. I'm always thinking about Justin, Yara, the new little edition in my belly, laundry, cleaning the bathroom and the toys etc.... Mom things you know..?

1. I know how to ski, snowboard and telemark ski. I hope after this little girl is born and I can go a few times before the season ends. Justin is planning on taking Yara skiing this winter after her 2nd b-day. I can't wait to watch...
2. I love photography.
3. I like to read.... I'm in charge of a book club up here in Logan. So if you know of any really good books let me know.
4. I drive adults with disabilities home from their work 3 days a week. I really enjoy being around them and trying to figure out what they are thinking about!
5. I hate dirty bathtubs and kitchens. I would rather have my whole house be a disaster than have a dirty kitchen or tub.
6. I've traveled all over the world. And hopefully Justin and I can take our kids all over when we are older and more settled.

Okay I tag lindsey darley, kristy and kemper...

New books... and we LOVE em'

You can actually move the tooth brush back and forth to properly show your child how to brush!
Up and down.... This next book is so cute. Yara loves it so much. She wants to read it over and over again.....

Yara loves reading books, and hiding them... that's why we joined the book club. The library fees were a little too much. The http://www.cbomc.com book club is fantastic because of the deals and all the choices. We rarely get books but when we do it's so fun!!
